Chicago has been chosen as the first home to a Shangri-La hotel in the United States. The hotel will be located on the corner of West Wacker Drive and Clark Street, on the banks of the Chicago River in what will be known as the Waterview Tower.
The 90-story tower promises to change the face of the skyline, while the unrivaled service expected from every Shangri-La hotel will bring luxury hotels to a new level.
The building will also offer 233 condominium units, with floor plans ranging from studios to two-bedroom units. Prices for these luxurious condominiums start at $500,000 for a studio unit. One-bedroom residences start at just over $1 million, and two-bedroom condominiums start at $1.3 million.
The Waterview Tower will offer luxury amenities expected from this type of development. Valet, concierge, and doorman service will be provided around the clock. Residents can enjoy the in-house restaurants, health club, and business facilities. The Chi Spa is one of the most luxurious amenities at Shangri-La.
