Mortgage Rates Drift Lower For the Week

MarketWatch announced today that 30-year mortgage rates were down slightlythis week, falling from 5.8% to 5.78%. This marked the fourth week in arow with declining rates. Mortgage rates are also lower than they werethis time last year, when they were 6.01%.
